These apartments make a comfortable base for an idyllic seaside holiday, one offering amazing views over Gorleston beach and the other with views over lush gardens. Hodges (ref UK30761) is a studio apartment, perfect for couples. It has the benefit of its own private entrance and an open plan living space. Hodgepodge (ref UK30769) is situated over two floors with a spacious first floor living room, including additional day bed and window seats, where you can sit back, relax and admire the view with your favourite glass of wine and watch the world go by.
These apartments makes a great base for exploring the local area. Located opposite Gorleston beach, this dog friendly (seasonal) beach is great for walks along the promenade with a café and pub at either end offering refreshments. You’ll find a great choice of restaurants within walking distance, so no need to cook. Don’t forget to try the local fish restaurant for delicious fresh fish and amazing desserts. Hodgepodge is located 4 miles south of Great Yarmouth, offering an abundance of family entertainment including amusements, arcades and circus shows. If shopping and culture is more your thing, then take a 40-minute drive to the medieval city of Norwich where you’ll be spoilt for shopping in this beautiful city, with a cathedral and castle museum. Beach 200 yards. Shop, pub and restaurant 800 yards.

Nice little place right on the front near beach and shops.Everything was ok for our stay with our dog.One real bonus is the free parking right opposite or on the side streets.The beach is beautiful and we enjoyed nice walks along the promenade down to Jay Jay's where we had lovely breakfast/ lunch.We had nice meals at The Fig on a couple of nights and used the local Chinese takeaway ( Embassy) which were very good.Only disappointment for eating out was that none of the local pubs did any food in the evening. We went to the Belle Vue, The Feathers and the Pier Hotel.All were really friendly to go for a drink.Overall a nice relaxing break for our first time on the Norfolk Coast

The holiday let in Gorleston-on-Sea offers a great location and a range of useful amenities. However, improvements are needed in the comfort of the bed and cleanliness of the bathroom to make the stay more enjoyable. Despite some shortcomings, we appreciated the attention to detail in providing necessary amenities.
