Guests say

Park View in Martham is a modern, well-equipped bungalow praised for its cleanliness, comfort, and excellent location for exploring the Broads and Norfolk coast. Guests appreciate the enclosed garden for dogs, thoughtful welcome packs, and responsive owners. The property is within easy walking distance of village amenities. Some guests noted minor issues such as limited wardrobe space, occasional noise from the nearby social club, and a preference for a shower over the bath in the main bathroom. Overall, the property offers a welcoming and enjoyable stay for families and pet owners alike.

The majority of guests found the property spotlessly clean and well maintained, with only rare mentions of cobwebs or spiders. Cleanliness is consistently highlighted as a strong point.

The location is highly regarded for its quiet setting, proximity to village amenities, and easy access to the Broads and coast. Some mention of the garden being overlooked and occasional noise from the social club, but overall, guests found the location convenient and pleasant.

Guests generally found the bungalow comfortable, with praise for the beds and living spaces. A few noted the lounge seating could be improved and that the main bedroom bed was small for taller guests. The property is warm and suitable for year-round stays.

The property is described as very well equipped, with a modern kitchen and good amenities. Some guests would have preferred a shower over the bath in the main bathroom and more wardrobe space, but these were minor points in otherwise positive feedback.

Many guests appreciated the welcome packs and gifts such as wine and snacks, as well as the owners' prompt and helpful responses to any issues. Please note that such gifts are not guaranteed for every stay.

We are a family of 4 with two teenage boys and a dog. The accommodation is of a good standard and modern which we all appreciated. Its also very dog friendly with an enclosed garden and wooden floors. The only slight negative as others mention were the master bedroom needing a King Size bed and my sons found the single bed mattresses to be quite hard. The village of Martham is very nice and you can walk to 2 x Coops, 2 pubs and various take aways which was sufficient for our needs. Opposite the bungalow is a sports ground and social club where my boys were able to play basketball and football. Nearby at Martham Ferry Boat we hired a day boat and explored The Broads which we all enjoyed. Further afield we went to - Sea Palling Beach (good car parking and sandy beach with a lifeguard) - Winterton (great for dog walks along The Dunes).- Great Yarmouth - my sons really enjoyed The Pleasure Beach- Norwich - great for shopping. Visit Jarrolds the Department Store Overall we all enjoyed our week in this area of Norfolk and we found Park View provided a comfortable base to explore from.

Sea Palling is a lovely little area with plenty of amenities, and the doughnuts are especially good! Great Yarmouth is great for shopping, and the zoo is a lovely place to visit, especially the big cats. Having a dog with us limited some options, but there are plenty of lovely beaches to explore.
