There is plenty of space on offer so that you can choose to spend quality time with your loved ones or enjoy your own pursuits. The spacious open plan kitchen/dining room is fully equipped to delight any chef, with the large dining table (seats 8 adults) it’s perfect to celebrate any occasion in style, also being a great socialising space without leaving the master chef of the group. The living room has a wood burner, perfect to snuggle beside during those cooler evenings and offers comfy sofas. Here you can enjoy quality time together with good conversation or enjoy a film.
There are four spacious bedrooms, the first bedroom is located downstairs having a kingsize double bed and easy access to the ground floor shower room with walk-in shower facility, making it an ideal choice for guests wanting to avoid any stairs. On the first floor there are three further bedrooms, the master kingsize double with large window enjoys panoramic sea views, also boasting an en-suite shower facility, another kingsize double and a quad bedroom having bunk beds and two single beds, a popular choice with the children. The family bathroom is located at first floor and has a bath with a shower over.
To the rear of the house is large coastal garden with paved patio area, an outdoor dining table, deck chairs and sun loungers. A gas barbecue is provided for guests to enjoy. The garden has superb views seaward across Winterton valley. The garden gate and path lead directly onto the beach itself. Beach equipment including folding chairs is provided for trips to the beach. At the front is a secondary seating area with garden furniture and Mediterranean style garden. The gardens are fully enclosed and safe for children and dogs. There is plentiful off road parking for up to four cars at the property.
The location is exceptional to explore all the delights the North Norfolk Coastline and the famous Norfolk Broads National Park. Discover the popular coastal and traditional seaside resorts of Great Yarmouth for fun at the fair, Caister with amusements and castle ruins, Sea Palling, all having great sandy beaches. Shopaholics head to the medieval city of Norwich with two indoor shopping malls, market square and plenty of eateries. For those seeking culture and history, why not visit the Blickling Hall Estate, Flebbrigg Hall, Sheringham Gardens, the Thursford and Muckleburgh Collections. The young at heart will enjoy a day out at Bewilderwood in Horning, Dinosaur Adventure Park at Lenwade, Banham Zoo or Amazonia Zoo in Cromer. Birdwatchers will delight at rspb Nature Reserve Marshes of Blakeney, Cley Next the Sea and Salthouse. Shop, pub, and fish and chip shop 800 yards. Beach 81 yards.

TLC required, whilst the facilities, view and position are all very good, the property is in need of a little update with decoration. Some of the windows and doors especially the French doors, are a little dated and not helped by the salt air, some of the garden furniture is a little worse for wear but the sun loungers are a nice touch and having seating in the front garden when the late sun is at the front was a bonus, all in all for a holiday let it’s good.

Lovely house for our family holiday. Had every thing we needed. Recommend the boathouse restaurant for an evening meal. Fish and chips in winterton were also good too.

I booked Sea star for 6 adults, 2 children (<5) and 1 dog. The bedrooms were spacious and comfortable, the upstairs little hallway seating was nice for quiet time. The open plan downstairs was perfect as the 2 boys loved putting the wood train track down in the middle part. We couldn't find the iron board and hoover listed and the mop could do with an update, we brought alot of sand into the house and we wanted to mop daily. Outside front and back was safe and secure for the dog and kids. Seating could do with a update outside but it was lovely to have a morning cuppa and a late prosecco there looking over the dunes to the sea (lots of boats) Kids loved the boat sand pit ( you might need more sand now) downside to outside no lights working. Side gate from garden to public access steps down to dunes then beach about 10min walk, it's uphill. Downside wooden steps rickety in some areas and overgrown brambles, not fantastic for people with mobility issues or little ones. We did use them every day whilst there to access the beach but we all felt they need attention. Beach fantastic it felt you had the beach to yourself. Visited the pub and chippy whilst we stayed would definitely recommend both. Would we go back to sea star, YES we all loved staying there.
