No smoking. Please note: Access is via an unmade road.. Overlooking and positioned directly opposite the wonderful sandy beach, just a few steps and you will have arrived at the shore. This detached holiday bungalow is a fantastic choice for a relaxed seaside break and will delight from the moment you arrive. Comfortably furnished, it offers sociable open-plan accommodation with commanding sea views. Please note that the wood burner is for display only and not for use. You have miles of walking to enjoy straight from the doorstep, so be sure to pack your walking boots. The enclosed garden makes a welcoming place to return to after a day of fun, where you can take a seat and soak up the last of the evening sunshine.
Scratby itself is a well-served village with a mini market and post office, antiques centre, coffee shops, pubs and restaurants. It is also a great base for exploring the delights of Norfolk. The nearby chalet parks apply day rates (chargeable by the park) and guests are welcome to enjoy their indoor and outdoor swimming pools, crazy golf, go-karting track, adventure playground and clubhouse facilities.
Take a trip to the Golden Mile at Great Yarmouth and discover a host of traditional seaside attractions including the Pleasure Beach. Thrill seekers may enjoy a day out at Pleasurewood Hills Theme Park in Lowestoft. For a change of pace, visit Thrigby Hall Wildlife Gardens and brave the tiger walk through the treetops. Nearby Caister Castle features a classic car museum, or you can enjoy a day at the races, with both horse and dog racing available locally. There is also Bewilderwood at Horning, the Sea Life Centre in Great Yarmouth and plenty of great places to eat and drink in the surrounding area.
You are close to the Norfolk Broads National Park, where you can drift along the famous waterways by chartering your own day launch or joining an organised tour. This wonderful location means you’re near all the action, including the city of Norwich, recently voted one of the top five UK cities to visit, with its Norman castle and numerous museums, galleries and theatres. Those who enjoy cycling and walking will find many great routes nearby. Beach 10 yards. Shop, pub and restaurants 0.7 miles.

It was a wonderful four nights away. Did not matter about the rain. It is a wonderful warm place. It was clean and welcoming. Loved the sea view from the living room window. It was very spacious. The welcoming packs in the kitchen were great. There was nothing we did not like.

It wasn't very disabled friendly, but that is our error. The bungalow and beaches were fantastic. Highly recommend.
