Beach Cottage is praised for its fantastic location near the beach and local amenities, offering a cosy and comfortable stay. Guests appreciate the secure garden for dogs and the proximity to a dog-friendly pub and shops. While some maintenance issues are noted, the charm of the cottage and the village of Winterton on Sea are highlights for many repeat visitors.
Cleanliness has been a concern for some guests, with reports of dog hair on carpets and the property not being cleaned prior to arrival. However, bedding and towels were noted as clean.
The location is highly praised for its closeness to the beach, local pub, and shops, making it an excellent spot for visitors looking to enjoy the seaside and village amenities.
The cottage is described as cosy and comfortable with a secure garden and comfy beds. However, some guests mentioned low door frames and steep stairs, which could pose challenges for taller individuals or those with mobility issues.
Facilities are generally well-received, with the cottage being well-equipped. Nonetheless, there are several maintenance issues such as a slow draining shower, a window that won't close, and general wear and tear that suggest room for improvement.
There is no mention of gifts or special touches that would indicate thoughtfulness from the property owner, so it is not possible to provide a score in this category.

Fantastic cosy comfortable cottage in a wonderful Village close to the Beach and great walking along the Dunes. Local pub dog friendly and does really good food, there is also a fish & chip shop plus Seal View Cafe on the Beach All excellent. Can't beat the location that's why we have been visiting for over 10 years now and many times stayed at Beach Cottage.

Brilliant location. Cosy cottage with private enclosed garden. Homely. It’s got everything you need.A couple of things need fixing, that was annoying:A slow draining shower, so that the shower tray becomes full very quickly and subsequently leaks onto the floor. The small window in the twin bedroom can’t shut as the handle won’t turn. Could be cold in winter and hard to shut out seagulls sounds in the mornings, if needed. There was a lot of dog hair on the lounge carpet, so either the vacuum cleaner is not very strong or the carpet was just not vacuumed well. We put up alright with it, and would come back, but it really needs attention at some stage.
