Built from the areas traditional carrstone, and within easy reach of Heacham's two beaches, this hideaway is an charming and characterful base from which to explore the wild North Norfolk coast, as well as many popular inland destinations.
Upon entering, the delightful nature of the property comes to the fore as the unique touches of character and excellent facilities optimise the enjoyment of your holiday. Enjoying views of the enclosed courtyard garden, the comfortable sitting room is a quiet, cosy and private space, allowing you to sit back and relax. Leading to the open-plan kitchen, this area is perfect for rustling up a delicious meal made from all the fantastic local produce you discover. A commodious breakfast island with sit up bar stools provides seating for four, creating a sociable environment.
Two peaceful bedrooms invite the most pleasant night's sleep after an energetic day of exploring. The master bedroom features a double bed, with the second bedroom offering a king-size bed that can be converted into twin bed on request. Both bedrooms are served by a generous bathroom that boasts a large bath and separate walk-in shower. With all accommodation on a single level, guests can enjoy great access to the property - ideal for those with mobility concerns.
Outside, the enclosed courtyard hosts a dining area with accompanying charcoal barbecue, french bistro set, ornamental water well (capped for safety) and off-road parking for one car.
Bootleggers is located in the heart of this lovely coastal village, within walking distance of all three of the village pubs. Heacham has many footpaths to discover, and a great beach side promenade that stretches all the way to the iconic carrstone cliffs of neighbouring Hunstanton. Look out for popular Bordoli's pizza truck that visits the village on a Wednesday evening, and be sure to sample the gooiest of treats from Breakfast and Brownies on the high street. There is also a great antiques shop and cafe to be found next to the Tesco Express. For a larger supermarket, Lidl is located on on the road to Snettisham, and there is a big Tescos in Hunstanton, which also has EV chargers in the car park and a fuel station.

We have had a super break in this characterful cottage which suited all our needs. We found the cottage warm, light, bright and spotlessly clean with everything that you would want to help you to get settled in. Additionally a big plus was the thoughtful welcome basket upon arrival. It was only a short walk from parking to the front door when bringing in the luggage. The outside space was private and secure with plenty of seating. We would love to return to Heacham and would have no hesitation on booking Bootleggers Barn again - many thanks for everything.

Visiting friends who live locally but no suitable accommodation for my disabled / alzheimers wife. Sadly we didn't use Bootleggers to its full potential as it was only for sleeping and fully equipped wetroom. However, was totally amazed at the high quality of both decoration and standard of furnishing and equipment provided plus lovely welcome package. Would have no hesitation to book again.
