Venturing out, you’ll discover a string of pretty coastal towns and villages offering a variety of habitats, including wide sandy beaches, marshes, and quays. Nearby Hunstanton features the Sealife Centre, seasonal seal trips, and a host of other seaside attractions. Heading east, you’ll pass through local beauty spots like Burnham-Overy-Staithe, Brancaster, Holkham, and Wells-next-the-Sea, with its picturesque quay and narrow-gauge railway that takes you to the beach adorned with pretty painted beach huts. Further along, you can enjoy crabbing on Blakeney Quay.
History buffs will appreciate visits to the Sandringham and Holkham Estates and exploring the Hanseatic Quarter of Old Kings Lynn. Bird watchers will enjoy trips to Titchwell, Cley, and Welney, while wildlife enthusiasts can embark on a deer safari in nearby Snettisham. Allawah House is the best self catering accommodation we have ever stayed in, and we’ve been to Norfolk 14 times. House is immaculate throughout, inside and outside all beautifully put together. The kitchen will leave you wanting for nothing, the owners have provided absolutely EVERYTHING you would want…..and more!Beds were super comfy, plenty of towels provided, the utility room is an added bonus and even had a dog grooming kit in it. I could go on and on as there is just so many brilliant features and f the house and garden that made our holiday the most relaxing we’ve ever had! We loved it so much we’ve already booked a longer stay for next year. AMAZING!!!!

A beautiful holiday home, it was so comfy and dog friendly. There is a large enclosed garden for the dogs and comfy beds for us lots of equipment in the kitchen for cooking and it was lovely and cleanThere is a field nearby to walk the dogs and it is very close to Hunstanton and Heacham. We had a lovely long weekend here and would definitely book again
