Guests say

Bracken Lodge receives glowing praise for its peaceful woodland setting, immaculate cleanliness, and well-equipped, comfortable interiors. Guests particularly enjoy the privacy, direct access to forest walks, and proximity to both beaches and local attractions. The lodge is especially popular with dog owners and families, offering a relaxing retreat with thoughtful touches. While the TV signal was occasionally unreliable, this was a minor issue compared to the overwhelmingly positive experience.

Multiple reviews highlight the lodge as spotlessly clean and beautifully presented, with no negative comments regarding cleanliness.

Guests consistently praise the tranquil forest setting, privacy, and easy access to beaches and local attractions. The only minor note is the need to drive to amenities.

The lodge is described as comfortable, cool during hot weather, and equipped with cosy beds and a pleasant living area. One review mentions a tight layout, but overall comfort is highly rated.

Facilities are modern and comprehensive, with everything needed for a pleasant stay. The only issue raised was occasional TV signal problems, but alternatives were available.

Several guests mention a thoughtful welcome pack and home comforts, though it should be noted that such gifts are not guaranteed for every stay.

A wonderful lodge set in the forest, which was perfect in the heatwave. Everything you could wish for in the property and close to local attractions (can even hear the steam trains tooting from the lodge!), forest walks from your doorstep and a short drive to the beach. Thoroughly recommend!!!

Bracken Lodge is lovely. The lodge has been set out with a lot of home comforts. It has everything you need for your stay. It’s set in a beautiful wood, nature outside your door. Lovely and quiet. We stayed in a heat wave and the lodge was nice and cool. There is a fan provided if need in the lounge. Beds were really comfortable, we slept well. The only downside was the TV signal kept dropping out for the need to reset. The internet was good so can be overcome by catchup tv or Netflix if you have them. In easy reach of Cromer and Sheringham. Would love to stay again.

Bracken Lodge is a fine place to stay when discovering this area. The lodge was very clean and well presented on arrival with a nice welcome package waiting for us. The layout is tight but very modern and comfortable with sufficient facilities for a short stay. The living area is all in one but was comfortable with good heating if needed, a multi-cushion sofa by the television, and a good kitchen set up and table area for eating. The bathroom is modern and roomy and hot water was never far away. The decor of the whole chalet has been done very well giving a pleasant homely feel. The location is in a quiet somewhat dominant wooded area which was very peaceful and private with other lodges nearby but not too close at all. Local amenities are a short drive away and we recommend The Ship, in Weybourne, as the go to restaurant. We enjoyed our stay here and the dogs loved walks in the woods and chasing squirrels! Thanks to Ann for a great cottage.
