Hilltop is a sizeable Edwardian holiday home a short walk from the colourful beach huts and the sandy shore at Mundesley. The owners have protected period features and the wonderful "family home" atmosphere, updating it with modern appliances for easy self-catering and decorating in a relaxed coastal style that suits the location. It is ideal for a getaway with extended family or friends as it sleeps 16 people in seven bedrooms with multiple reception rooms and a big garden with a hot tub. Children and dogs are welcome. 

Hilltop is a big holiday home for group self-catering stays in Norfolk. A coastal holiday simply isn't proper unless you're by the beach. This property is minutes from the sandy shore and brightly coloured beach huts of North Norfolk. There is room for 16 people to sleep in seven bedrooms with many family-friendly features like bunk beds, space for travel cots, and a play house in the garden. Grab your bucket and spade, your kids and your dogs, and don't stop until you reach Mundesley!

There's a reason the North Norfolk coast is such a popular family holiday destination. Mundesley has all the features you want in a seaside resort without feeling tacky or overcrowded. Colourful huts line the promenade, it's safe for swimming at low tide, and there's a cafe where you can enjoy a beachside brunch. If you feel like a bit of traditional glitz and a fresh lobster roll, the pier and arcades of Cromer are only a few miles away. Other award-winning beaches to discover include Holkham, Wells-next-the-Sea, Waxham and Sea Palling.

Attractions range from the very child-friendly beWilderwood to the royal estate of Sandringham. See the seals at Horsey and Blakeney, admire the beauty of Holkham Hall and The Old Vicarage Garden at East Ruston, or satisfy your interest at the Mickleburgh Military Collection, Caister Castle and Car Collection, rnli Museum, and the Museum of the Broads. Accommodation Comprises:

Hilltop is an Edwardian property with generous proportions, double bay windows on two floors, substantial gardens and an uncluttered, fresh decor that suits the seaside location and 21st Century tastes. Built in 1907 as a family home, it feels wonderfully welcoming in all seasons.

Ground Floor:

Two large sitting rooms offer space to relax in front of the TV, read, chat or play games. Each room has a log fire, a bay window with garden views, and comfortable sofas.

There is seating for 16 at the long table in the dining room, which is just as welcoming for casual family meals as it is for fancy celebrations.

Feeding 16 people is less of a chore in the kitchen. It is superbly equipped for group self-catering with features that include a modern range, two dishwashers and a big American-style fridge/freezer. There's a table in here for breakfast.

A TV/den is next to the kitchen, giving the kids somewhere to play in earshot while you're cooking.

First Floor:

Four bedrooms are on the first floor, including the Blakeney family suite with garden and sea views, a kingsize or twin single beds plus full-sized bunk beds. The ensuite features a shower, WC and a handbasin.

Cley is a lovely double room with a king-sized bed, ensuite shower room, and views of the sea.

Sheringham is similar to Cley with a king-sized bed and ensuite. It is on the other side of the house and overlooks the garden.

Salthouse is a lovely twin room with two full-sized (3ft-wide) single beds. It is next to the family bathroom where there is a shower over the roll top bath, WC and handbasin.

Second Floor:

Three bedrooms and a family shower room with a walk-in shower, WC and wash hand basin lead off the top floor landing.

Mundesley is a large double room with a king-sized bed and sea views.

Cromer has two single beds. The lower ceiling height may not suit taller adults but children love it!

Overstrand features a king-sized bed and garden views.

Outside: The extensive garden has room to play, a barbecue and seating area, and a hot tub in a log cabin. There is ample off street parking.

Additional Information: Utilities, WiFi, logs, bed linen and bath and hot tub towels are all included. You will only need to bring beach towels, dog towels, and cot bedding if they are required. Logs are available for a supplement. Strictly no smoking.
