Located in Wells-next-the-Sea, Tusker House is a very picturesque detached character property, in a super elevated and peaceful location. With a pretty cottage garden and, what everyone wants in Wells, a parking space, this hideaway is the ideal base from which to explore this popular coastal holiday destination, and beyond.
Tusker House has been a much-loved family home for many years. Recently updated, the house still has a very warm, welcoming and homely feel and will particularly appeal to families but is also perfect for couples and friends to enjoy. Furnished with an easy mix of family heirlooms and modern furniture, the house is a comfortable and relaxing place to be. Downstairs you are spoilt for choice with three reception rooms - a sitting room with open fire and french doors to the garden, a dining room and a snug/children's television room. The well-equipped modern fitted kitchen is a more recent addition to the house and overlooks the garden. There's also a shower room on the ground floor - very handy for dealing with small sandy people after a day on the beach! Upstairs there are four bedrooms (two doubles, a twin, and single) and a family bathroom. The charming enclosed garden is at the back of the house. At the bottom of the garden is an off road parking area where there is space for one medium sized car.
From the house, you are only a few minutes' level walking distance to the centre of this ever popular seaside town, with its bustling quayside, independent shops, cafes and some excellent gastro pubs. It's just a five minute walk to the Quay and from there you can reach Wells beach in another ten to fifteen minutes. It's well worth the walk - this is one of the most stunning beaches and stretches as far as the eye can see. Bliss!

Lovely home for our three generational holiday. Plenty of space indoor and outdoor for everyone to do their own thing. The weather was mixed but plenty to do in the area with good restaurants and coffee shops. I would recommend Tusker House!

Tusker house was a charming place to stay with a beautiful cottage garden and plenty of space for our party of five. Location good for local amenities and easy to get out of Wells to visit neighbouring villages. Would highly recommend.
