Guests say

River View in Norwich offers a delightful stay with stunning river outlooks and comfortable, well-equipped accommodation. Most guests praise its cleanliness, bright interiors, and convenient location close to local amenities. While some reviews mention steep stairs and initial parking challenges, the overall experience is highly regarded, with many keen to return.

Most guests found the apartment spotless and clean. However, one review mentioned a musty smell, dirty stair carpet, and unclean bathroom, which slightly lowers the overall cleanliness score.

The location is highly praised for its excellent river views and proximity to pubs and attractions. Some initial parking difficulties were noted, but the location remains a highlight for guests.

The majority of guests found the apartment comfortable, with special mentions of a comfortable bed and a warm setting. The steep stairs were a minor concern for some regarding comfort.

Facilities are generally good, with well-equipped kitchens and ample storage. Some guests suggested updates and mentioned the lack of a razor point and hairdryer, indicating room for improvement.

There is no mention of gifts or special thoughtful touches in the reviews, so it is not possible to provide a score for thoughtfulness.

Ideal property for us, as we wanted to be near the river this year, but not on a boat(too cold and damp).Ideal for a couple. Warm comfortable and clean. Well appointed. 50yds to the nearest pub (drinks ok, but not the best for food, recommend The Swan). Lack of parking space not a problem at this time of year (Oct/Nov)All in all a pleasant place to stay.

Enjoyed our stay very much. The flat had a lovely outlook over the river, was spotless, light and bright throughout the day, and the bed was very comfortable indeed. Heating was most welcome in the chilly evenings. All the facilities we needed were provided, although a razor point would have been helpful, and I fortunately had packed my own hairdryer. Excellent storage and hanging space was available for clothing.Would book this flat again.

We stayed at River View for 3 nights. The flat was comfortable, clean and bright. We enjoyed watching the boats on the river. Great location with pubs nearby and we were able to walk our dog to the playing field by the Village Hall, which was accessible by some steps directly opposite the front door. We gave 4 stars because on arrival there was no available parking nearby and we had to pull up on the pavement and unload quickly & then drive round to park the car at the Village Hall (which is free). This only happened on the Saturday and after that we were able to park outside. As has been previously mentioned, the stairs in the flat are quite steep, so not suitable if you have weak knees!
