Violet Cottage is praised for its cosy and comfortable atmosphere, with a large garden that is especially appreciated by dog owners. Its proximity to the beach, local pubs, and shops adds to its charm. Guests have enjoyed the well-equipped kitchen, comfortable beds, and the ease of check-in. The cottage serves as a great base for exploring North East Norfolk and the Broads.
Most guests found the cottage clean, with only one mentioning it could do with some TLC. The overall impression is that the property is well-presented.
The location is highly praised for being close to the beach, local amenities, and attractions in North East Norfolk. The convenience of a nearby pub and shop is frequently mentioned.
Guests consistently describe the cottage as cosy and warm, with comfortable beds and a living area that is large for the size of the property. The garden adds to the comfort by providing space for relaxation.
The facilities are generally appreciated, though some guests suggest the kitchen and bathroom may need updating. The presence of an open fire and well-equipped kitchen are positives, but there are comments about the need for better shower facilities and minor maintenance.
While guests have mentioned a welcome bottle of wine, biscuits, and flowers, as these gifts are not consistently referenced across the reviews, it cannot be confirmed that they are a standard offering for all guests. Therefore, while these touches are appreciated, they should not be expected by future visitors.
