Just a few minutes walk from the wonderful sandy beach and the heart of this beautiful coastal village, Southbank is a lovely spacious bungalow. It is fully equipped and offers excellent, light and very comfortable 4 star accommodation, making it ideal for both families or couples. Gardeners will love the full range of garden tools, and are welcome to potter about.
Mundesley village has everything on its doorstep, including shops, cafés, restaurants, pubs and even a tourist information centre in high season. Gold Park is a short stroll away with crazy golf, toddlers swing park, skateboard park, outdoor gym, basketball and tennis courts. For two weeks In August, there is even a circus in the park. For golfers there is Mundesley Golf Course, a challenging 9 hole course and Mundesley Bowls Club, both within walking distance and both very welcoming to holiday makers.
This is a great area for birdwatching, coastal walks, golf, fishing, cycling, boating or simply having family fun on the beach. Excellent year-round dog friendly beaches are only 7 minutes walk away, located either side of the main beach. Wroxham, known as the ‘capital of the Broads’, is just 12 miles away for boat hire and river trips, waterside restaurants, cafés and shops. The popular seaside town of Cromer is 7 miles away with its famous pier. There are many NT properties such as Felbrigg Hall, Blickling Hall and Sheringham Park just a short drive away. Blakeney Quay, for seal trips, is 23 miles and the city of Norwich is just 20 miles, with excellent shopping, theatre, castle, museum, cathedral, cafés and restaurants, or a little further, Great Yarmouth is 27 miles away. The house was quiet, clean and cozy. Very well equipped. The garden was adequate for our retriever., could do with a little bit of tidying up though. The water pump in the bathroom is extremely loud and resonated through the house which isn't good whilst you are sleeping. We used the kitchen sink so not to wake up our daughter. The shower cubicle is tired and needs replacing. Could do with some storage shelves to put toiletries on as we had to use the floor. Very well situated for the beach. There is a gravel unadopted road opposite that takes you straight to the beach without walking along the road. There is a mini golf, park, couple of souvenir shops and cafe there. The Ship inn is very busy, food is ok. Cromer is 7 miles away but gets very busy and wasn't that nice. Not many places to eat. The pier only has a theatre and cafe on it. We preferred Sheringham a little further away. Overall we had a lovely stay and would return to the house if we stayed in Norfolk again. ☺️

Comfortable bungalow, everything you need for a stay in Mundesley., close to all amenities, good butcher in village, The Ship is also great when you don’t feel like cooking. Easy walk down to the beach. All in all very good.

Southbank was very welcoming and comfortable, it was full of all the equipment needed and more besides. We had a very happy week there with our dogs in a contained garden where they were very safe and we could sit in the evenings and have a quiet meal and a glass of wine. It took a little longer than the 7 minutes to the beach but that was not a problem for us and there was a little walk not far away (although it was private land with access) for a last evening walk. We were a short drive from many interesting features. We would visit again.
