Central heating (underfloor upstairs), electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. Welcome pack. External utility room with washing machine and tumble dryer (shared with other properties on-site). Garden with patio. Electric vehicle charging point available on request, at cost. Private parking for 2 cars. No smoking.. The property was refurbish and redesigned in 2024 to maximise the stunning views from the property. It now has the top floor as an open plan living and dinning area maximising views from both sides of the property.
Upstairs is the new the living area including a modern new kitchen with modern appliances including induction hob, oven, fridge, separate wine cooler, combination microwave/air fryer/grill. The dinning table over looks the bay. There is also a comfortable lounge area with TV and Playstation to relax in. Downstairs is a master bedroom with kingsized bed, a smaller twin bedroom and a stylish bathroom.
This is a perfect base to explore the surrounding area. Located on the beautiful south Cornish coast on Chynhall’s Point, it is a 5-minute walk from the famous South West Coastal path and a minute’s walk to Porthbeer Beach or an 8-minute walk to Mears Beach. The property overlooks the headland with fantastic views from the dining room. Downstairs you can access the private garden from the back bedroom, a great place to chill and relax.
Just a little further down the hill is the old Headlands Hotel, the laundry room is on the ground floor, together with a small library, if you want to book out the tennis courts (no charge), fill out the book in the hallway. The Headlands communal gardens are for you to enjoy and have fabulous views. There are benches and grass spaces to have a picnic overlooking the spectacular sea and stunning coastline. You can easily walk into Coverack, a small, picturesque fishing village with a stunning beach and beautiful harbour, there is a pub and a fish and chip shop and is in an area for water sports, windsurfing, sailing, and diving.
If you want to venture further from Coverack, just under 12 miles away is the nearest town. Helston is a small market town known for its famous Furry Dance held in May, you can explore the museum, walk around the local shops, or visit the Cornish Seal Sanctuary where rescued seals are nursed back to health. For family fun spend a day at Flambards theme park, there is something for all ages and some of it is under cover if the weather is bad. If you are a keen gardener why not visit some of our beautiful estates, such as Bonython, Trebah and The Lost Gardens of Heligan? Beach ¼ mile. Pub and restaurant ½ mile.

Lots to do locally and further a field with beautiful scenery.Everyone so friendly.Lovely holiday cottage. Comfort dropped one star only because the single beds not so comfy and no curtains or blinds to feel warm and cosy in autumn winter whwn it became dark.But the main bed and sofa was sooo comfy and the views were fantastic.Mark and liz were fantastic hosts, really helpful.
