We got back yesterday and must say we had a fantastic time at south view Barn Chris the owner was very helpful and friendly couldn't do enough for us and I must mention the wine it went down a treat , they have two gorgeous chickens they came round every day for the treats so we bought tins of sweetcorn for them I'm sure they enjoyed it they never left any , I will definitely go again thankyou Chris for a lovely stay see you soon 👍

This is our 2nd stay at Southvirw Barn and first time with our 1 year old son. He absolutely loved the fact we can wonder outside and see the animals. Great location for getting into Barnard Castle, only a 5 min walk to centre and lovely walks straight from the front door.

Lovely barn conversion in a great location. Chris the owner is so friendly and helpful. Is was great to open the blinds on a morning to see all of the animals. Barnard castle is a lovely town with a good coice of shops and cafes/restaurants. We will definitely be back.
