Just got back from a week at Southview barn and loved everything about this beautiful place.We have stayed in many holiday lets and this is by far the best one yet.Well done Chris and Tracy.Barnard Castle with all its amenities is only a 10 min walk away and the surrounding countryside is ideal for walkers.Durham and the Yorkshire dales are all within easy reach making it a perfect place to stay.

We had a great time at Southview barn. It's our second time visiting - this time for a week. Perfect location with a short walk into Barnard castle and across the road from the Bowes museum which is great, as well as great walks and footpaths from the door. Comfortable beds, well equipped kitchen and beautiful views from the main living space, we all enjoyed watching the sheep and chickens! We hope to return soon 😊
