Enter into a beautifully furnished property where you will find the living areas on the first floor, beginning with a sitting area boasting a selection of stylish sofas in grey, complementing the main feature of the room, a beautiful stone fireplace housing a woodburning stove. The tasteful neutral colour scheme continues into the kitchen/diner, offering a great space to cook up a storm using the marble worksurface and many home-from-home amenities, and the spacious nature of this room allows guests to socialise or even enjoy a games night at the dining table.
On the ground floor you will find the first of three bedrooms, a king-size four poster bed, accompanied by a bathroom, and on the second floor two more bedrooms can be found, a twin with sloping ceilings and a stylish double. If you love dining alfresco, then you will enjoy using the courtyard, a space filed with furniture and punctuated by pretty flowers. Situated just 4 miles east of Alnwick, Alnmouth is a charming resort popular with golfers and those seeking a peaceful holiday. The village lies on a narrow spit of land between the River Aln and the North Sea and was originally the port for Alnwick. Nowadays the area has returned to its unspoilt origins and offers a good variety of shops, pubs and restaurants as well as an excellent “links” golf course and some great rivers for fishing, as well as boasting miles and miles of splendid beaches and sand dunes to explore which afford stunning views of the North Sea. A short drive will bring you to Alnwick with its famous historic castle, The Alnwick Garden housing the Poison Garden which runs guided tours through dangerous botanicals and a variety of pubs and restaurants. Alnmouth is well situated for exploring Northumberland.
