Fabulous location close to the Northumberland coast line. It's an incredibly spacious house, yet still feels cosy. Comfy beds, lovely hot showers and a lovely big relaxing lounge. Overall the cottage is pretty well equipped, although the kitchen needs a deep clean. Parking just outside was very handy. Shilbottle is a lovely village, great rural location however, the pub isn't doing food at at the moment and the Morrisons local wasn't very well stocked - so i'd recommend taking something with you for the first night at least, especially if you had a long drive like we did. We'd visit again, for sure.
