Obviously a recently refurbished house, few little bits still to complete but it’s lovely. The kitchen is extremely well equipped, lovely dining/ kitchen area and a separate sitting room. 1 bedroom en suite, second bathroom downstairs. Very warm, heating easy to adjust. On street parking outside (we had 2 cars & no problem). Ten minute walk across the bridge to town centre so very handy but away from any noise or hustle & bustle. Large tiled terrace area out the back with table/chairs/sunshade, swing seat and bbq. Great communication from Tommy & a lovely welcome hamper with eggs, cereal, croissants, tea/coffee/sugar/milk sachets, jam & prosecco. Would definitely recommend.

The house is in a lovely spot next to the river side walk. Which was ideal for our wee dog to sniff and explore. Close to the A1 made it ideal for exploring Northumberland with ease. Close to shops and restaurants, makes it ideal a holiday base. The house is beautifully decorated and comfortable, the kitchen is equipped for every thing you could need to prepare and cook meals. The stairs are a bit steep thankfully there is a handrail all the way up to help getting up and down to the bedrooms. We were disappointed by the garden, but spoke to the owner, he was so kind and empathetic and worked hard to rectify the situation. He was responsive and eager to help out. We were so lucky with the weather it was warm and dry for the week which meant we were out and about every day.

This is a lovely house close to the town centre (walking distance over historical bridge) but away enough that it is quiet.A riverside walk is directly behind the property which was ideal at night with the dog. Host, Tommy, was excellent and provided a wee arrival hamper which was very thoughtful. Lovely property with modern finishes. One en-suite bedroom and large second bedroom upstairs with the main bathroom downstairs. Cannot recommend this place enough!
