Guests generally appreciate the cottage's prime location near the beach and local amenities, its suitability for dogs with an enclosed garden, and the cosy, well-equipped living space. While most found the property clean and comfortable, a few noted maintenance issues and cleanliness oversights.
Most guests found the cottage clean and tidy, though there were some reports of specific areas needing more attention, such as windows and bathroom floors. The majority of reviews, however, do not highlight cleanliness as a major issue.
The location is highly praised for its proximity to beaches, pubs, and shops, making it an ideal spot for holidaymakers looking to explore Northumberland and enjoy the local scenery.
The majority of guests found the cottage comfortable, with special mentions of comfy beds and a cosy atmosphere. However, some guests noted issues with seating comfort and a musty bathroom smell.
Facilities are generally well-received, with the property being described as well-equipped. Nonetheless, there were several comments about maintenance issues such as problems with the hot water, shower, and appliances that suggest room for improvement.
While some guests mentioned receiving milk upon arrival, there is not enough consistent information about thoughtful touches or gifts to accurately score this category. It should be noted that such gestures, while appreciated, are not guaranteed.

It's such a warm and comfortable bungalow that has everything you need. I have a dog so the enclosed garden is perfect. I love staying here. The only thing (which has nothing to do with the owner) is that a neighbour has extended their bungalow at the side, so what used to be a private garden is no longer. There is a window which looks right across to the garden and patio doors which is a shame.

Really clean and comfortable with a lovely garden. We cycled so it was great to have a secure garage to store our bikes in. Everything is really close, the beach, fish and chips, shop and pub. My friend has already booked us in for December!!

The bungalow is very comfortable and the garden is perfect for the dog. The weather was good, we enjoyed walks and beautiful scenery. We had some lovely meals at The Landing, Seasalt Cafe and the Craster Arms. Hope to return next year.
