This well-presented bungalow sits in a quiet residential cul-de-sac within the harbour village of Beadnell, Northumberland. Just a short walk from the glorious stretch of beach, Shore Cottage provides a wonderful escape for families looking to getaway to the coast. Upon arrival you are greeted by off-road parking directly outside the property, so you can easily unload your belongings. Step into the bright and airy open-plan living space, where you can make yourself comfortable on the sofa and discuss the plans for the holiday. Perch yourself on the large island unit and keep the designated chef company as they rustle up a tasty feast, assisted by the electric oven and hob, fridge and freezer. A back door leads to the enclosed patio garden, featuring a set of table and chairs from which you can enjoy a drink whilst the little ones roam the lawn. As the night grows darker, wash away the day in the family bathroom, choosing between the bath or shower over, before retreating to either of the bedrooms. The master hosts a double bed with TV and en-suite shower room, whilst there is also a bunk room and a twin room for the little ones. Within just a short walk is the glorious seafront and beach, ideal for a range of watersport activities or to simply soak up the scene. Rocky outcrops make the area scenic and there are some fantastic walking routes that provide a great way to discover the region. After building up an appetite, pick up some fresh fish and chips or visit a local pub for a refreshing pint. Hop in the car and visit the castles of Alnwick, Warkworth, Dunstanburgh and Bamburgh, whilst Northumberland Country Zoo and the Farne Islands is perfect if you’re looking to see unusual birds and even seals. This charming and tranquil harbour community is located next to Beadnell Bay, one of Northumberland's most stunning parts of the Heritage Coastline. Beadnell, which dates back to the Saxon era, was once a significant fishing community and a sanctuary for smugglers. Even though it is still a fishing community today, tourists often visit to take advantage of the charming harbour and, of course, the neighbouring sandy beaches. A store, two pubs, and a café with meals are all present in the village. Just over a mile away, the well-known Seahouses offers restaurants, a supermarket, stores, and boat cruises to the lovely Farne Islands, a sanctuary for bird lovers. While Alnwick, a market town with a castle, gardens, shops, pubs, and restaurants, is only a short drive from Bamburgh, it is also close by.
