Perfect location in the village with the best view out to sea and over to Dunstanburgh Castle that weâve had of all the properties weâve stayed in. Embleton is also a perfect base for exploring Northumberland. We absolutely loved our stay and will definitely return to Links View. Thank you. Liz

Very comfortable lounge furniture and a well equipped kitchen. We had everything we needed for our stay. And, of course, the views from the lounge and balcony are spectacular both in the day and, if you are lucky and get clear skies, at night. The house was very clean and warm when we arrived. Owners: I couldnât get the timer on the heater in the single room to work so it had to be switched on or off ( which wasnât a problem) . Probably me just not understanding the process but worth a check. Itâs about a 10 minute walk downhill from the house to the beach and golf course and for a change of scenery the old quarry and pond next to the house has also had a makeover and is now a nature reserve with clear pathways, 2 free range goats and 2 Dartmoor ponies. Really good bird watching spot. We ate at The Greys Inn one night. 3 different meals, all really good. Will definitely return here & can highly recommend Links View for a stay in Embleton.

Downside. The third bedroom is disappointing because there is no window only a high glass panel connected to the main bedroom which luminates the room when trying to sleep. But mostly because there is no radiator so rather cold for our youngest in January, we had to leave the door open to let warmth in however the radiator in the hall also didn't work. There is only one double wall socket in that room which is away from the bed. The hot water supply stopped working on the last day so had to wash pots in cold water.
