Pack up your bathing suits and swimming trunks and head straight for the beach, where you will find glorious sands which stretch for miles, ideal for paddling the shores, bathing with your favourite book or beachcombing the shores where you will be able to catch a glimpse of the well-known Couple Statue.
Nearby you will find an excellent 18-hole golf course with stunning views overlooking the Northumberland coastline. Discover a wealth of things to do in Morpeth at the Tourist Information Centre, there is also an amazing gift shop, stocked with locally made artwork. In Newbiggin-by-the-Sea you’ll find a number of independent shops, and in nearby Creswell you’ll find The Drift Café which is famous for wonderful homemade cakes and fabulous food. The region is truly a walker's haven and the property enjoys access to an array of trails, including a path spanning across Lordenshaw Hill Fort, The Simonside Hills and Burgh Hill, whilst the Northumberland Coast Path provides you with the opportunity to watch the dolphins during your hike!
