As you arrive, you’ll be greeted by a picturesque scene - a charming bridge spanning across a large pond with weeping willow, leading to a meticulously maintained lawned garden. Step inside the property with its large glass windows, and you’ll immediately notice the interior has been thoughtfully designed blending modern comforts with classic charm. The property is flooded with natural light, and you’ll find the beautiful kitchen/dining area on the ground floor together with the first bedroom which has a lovely outlook across the pond. Moving to the first floor and the tastefully decorated living room boasts far reaching countryside views, and the second bedroom adorned with plush bedding is a haven of relaxation.
Whilst the property itself is rural, it’s also ideally situated for exploring a host of nearby attractions. The pretty village of Audlem is around a 10-minute drive and is famous of its run of 15 locks. With canal side pubs and a good selection of independent shops draw visitors in from far and wide. For a more comprehensive range of facilities, the market towns of Nantwich, Market Drayton and Whitchurch are all around a 20-minute drive. An hour away lies the historic city of Chester, renowned for its Roman walls, stunning cathedral, and charming medieval architecture, and nature enthusiasts will delight in the proximity to the breathtaking Peak District National Park. Absolutely incredible trip away. It is a beautiful property which includes lots of lovely touches (the homemade cake was incredible). The hosts were really communicative and lovely. Such a peaceful few days away, we would absolutely recommend it!
