Offering character and charm, this cottage in Kirksanton is set over three floors and boasts versatile sleeping accommodation with five comfortable bedrooms. The first floor comprises three double bedrooms, complemented by a stylish family bathroom that features a centre bath. The cosy second floor of this Kirksanton cottage offers further space for guests with a double bedroom that is accessed through a twin room. The spacious ground floor at this Lakeland cottage includes an airy farmhouse kitchen with dining area, a delightful sitting room with a warming open fire, and additional living accommodation with a snug and a separate dining room; there is also a convenient shower room located on the ground floor. This cottage in Kirksanton is surrounded by unspoilt countryside, and the small but attractive lawned garden with patio and furniture is an idyllic spot for guests to spend sunny afternoons together. A traditional local pub is just a short stroll from your Lake District cottage, and there are excellent walking opportunities from the doorstep, including the beautiful walk up Black Combe. Lovely coastal walks can be found close by, as the nearest beach is within a mile of this Lake District cottage. The more energetic will love the fells at Wasdale Head, including famous Scafell, which offer a challenge that rewards adventurers with magnificent sights. The small hamlet of Kirksanton is situated on the West Coast of Cumbria, within the Lake District National Park. The hamlet comprises of a scattering of cottages, farm dwellings and a traditional village pub, and enjoys an enviable position amidst some of the most beautiful countryside in Britain, as well as being situated close to local beaches, coastal walks and many of the nearby conservation areas. Views of Black Combe, Whicham Valley and Lacra Hill can be seen from the hamlet, and nearby the stunning valleys of Eskdale and Dunnerdale provide breathtaking and ever-changing scenery to be enjoyed throughout the year. Local attractions include Muncaster Castle, a World Owl Centre and the Ravenglass to Eskdale miniature railway, all of which provide wonderful and varied days out.
