.5There are a few issues, toilet roll holder falls off, knob missing from the flush, and ants. However, the rest of the accommodation was wonderful, plenty of rooms, outstanding views, cows graving next to the window, quaint village, close to the lakes, jacuzzi in the garden was welcomed after a couple of hours driving.Very quiet location, wifi, smart TV, comfy beds.Absolute legend for leaving the ice cube trays filled and frozen, especially as we just started a heatwave, we returned the gesture on our departure. We stayed for a long weekend mid June with a family burial in Consett, unfortunately cottage couldn't do anything about the roadworks in Penrith.I am definitely looking to rebook soon. 9.5/10
