Guests say

Adamsons Barn is a spacious and well-equipped cottage, highly praised for its dog-friendly enclosed garden and relaxing hot tub. Guests consistently mention the warm welcome from the hosts and thoughtful touches throughout the property. The cottage is ideal for families and dog owners, with easy access to local attractions. While most found the property clean and comfortable, a few noted minor issues with bedding, garden cleanliness, and check-in/check-out times. Overall, guests enjoyed their stays and would recommend the property, especially for those travelling with dogs.

Most guests found the property very clean and well-presented, with several describing it as spotless. However, a few reviews mentioned issues such as leftover dog mess in the garden and some concerns about garden furniture cleanliness, which slightly lowered the score.

The location is appreciated for its quiet surroundings and proximity to attractions like Lytham and the Forest of Bowland. However, some guests noted the property is on a busy road and that walking dogs nearby can be challenging, making a car essential.

Guests generally found the cottage spacious, warm, and cosy, with comfortable seating and amenities. Some mentioned issues with soft or squeaky beds and noisy floorboards, which affected sleep quality for a few visitors.

The property is praised for its excellent facilities, including a large hot tub, well-equipped kitchen, TVs in all bedrooms, and a secure garden for dogs. Minor suggestions included a covered hot tub and improved garden furniture, but overall facilities exceeded expectations.

Many guests appreciated thoughtful extras such as slippers, dressing gowns for the hot tub, and welcome gifts like milk, eggs, and wine. Please note that such gifts are not guaranteed for every stay.

We enjoyed our stay overall. The property is very spacious, with a lovely large enclosed garden, which was great for the dogs. The accommodation was well equipped, and had comfortable seating areas. Plenty of room for 5 adults and 3 large dogs. The beds were a little on the soft side for our preference. Also on a very busy trunk road.As the owner lives next door, they are around the property quite frequently. The owner does require daily access to the property (not always announced) and is happy to walk in even if your dogs are running free in the garden, in order to check the hot tub. The location is also worth bearing in mind if you’re travelling with dogs, as there aren’t any nearby walking areas where you can easily exercise them, so having a car is essential. Anywhere within walking distance is No No s the road is too busy and without payment.

absolutely loved our stay here, the owners have thought of everything from milk to wine it is like home from home. providing slippers and dressing gowns for the hot tub is a lovely touch, only critic is that the living room should be where the downstairs bedroom is so we could have sat inside and keep an eye on the kids, but this didn't affect our stay at all.Highly recommend staying here.
