New for 2022 a stunning lodge with lakeside views one double with en suite, one double and one twin with bathroom. Fibre-optic Wi-Fi. Open plan lounge/kitchen/dining room with doors to a private terrace, seating area and an outdoor bubbling hot tub. The kitchen features a fridge/freezer, dishwasher, wine cooler, washing machine and tumble dryer, and there is also a utility room with a sink for washing boots. The perfect location for a family holiday.

Early check-in at 2pm is available at this site but must be booked and paid for at least 1 week prior to arrival. Due to the fact that lodges need to be cleaned and hot tubs drained, cleaned and refilled after every guest has vacated, check-in time is strictly 3pm onwards at this site unless an early check-in has been booked prior to arrival".
There will be that routine grounds maintenance being undertaken on the lakes to remove reeds growing in the lakes. This will be undertaken in all the lakes on site and should not affect your stay in any way apart from the slight noise of the machinery on site.

The lodge was spacious, really modern and had everything needed. Comfortable bed and sofas, great to have smart TV in lounge and bedroom. Liked the added touch of the wine cooler and having a washing machine and tumble dryer, and little welcome pack with tea, coffee and biscuits. The decking area was really large with good seating overlooking a large pond with lots of wildlife. Nice modern bathrooms one with bath and one with shower, helpful little toiletry pack. Fab hot tub really large with various seating positions, it was hot and you could adjust the temp yourself if it started to cool down and it wasn't overlooked. Only minor downsides were pressure in the shower was low, the step down into the hottub could be a issue if like us you have dodgy knees. But its still one of the nicer lodges we have stayed in.
