Guests say

Guests consistently praise 'The Eyrie' for its comfort, cleanliness, and thoughtful touches, including a welcome basket. Its location in Ashbourne makes it ideal for family holidays and exploring the Peak District. The property is well-equipped, though some guests noted weak wifi and garden security concerns for pets.

Reviewers frequently mention the property being spotlessly clean, indicating a high level of cleanliness throughout the cottage.

The property's location is highly regarded for its proximity to Ashbourne town, local walks, and the Derbyshire Dales, making it a great spot for exploration and convenience.

Comfort is a recurring compliment from guests, with mentions of comfortable beds and a well-appointed house, suggesting a very comfortable stay overall.

Facilities are generally praised, especially the well-equipped kitchen and outside seating areas. However, scores are slightly lowered due to comments about weak wifi and the lack of secure garden for pets.

Guests appreciate the thoughtful touches, such as the welcome basket and Christmas decorations. While these gifts enhance the experience, it's important to note they are not guaranteed for every stay.

A wonderfully relaxing week in a very comfortable cottage. We enjoyed the views across the valley from the living room and the gentle sound of the church bells in the distance. And Ashbourne itself is lovely - plenty to see and do on the doorstep.
