Lovely area with plenty of walks and attractions. Nice cottage with comfortable beds and sofas and well equipped kitchen. The double bedroom and en-suite were fine but as we were a party of four adults and one child we found the twin room not really suitable for adults, the towels were too small and the bedding wasn’t great. The shower room could definitely do with a refurbishment. The car parking space, once we found it, was very tight, made worse by a van and trailer full of old washing machines in the space next to it. We were told there was room for a second car to park on the road outside the property but there was never any space there, however there is a public car park a few minutes walk away. By far the worst thing was the overwhelming smell of dog that hit you when you opened the front door, the towels also had this smell.

Lovely cottage in a great location for walking or visiting attractions in the area. Some stunning scenery. Cottage is comfortable and if we are overly critical, some rooms could do with a freshen up (paint / decoration). Some improved lighting above the kitchen prep area would be useful too. That said we definitely stay here again.

A beautiful location. But the experience was ruined as we did not hear from the hosts. So had to chase the keycode number which took me 2 hours the morning we were leaving . I was then told to send proof of paying ? The company couldnt get hold if the hosts. So it all got a bit stressful The barn is lovely . But had a very strong smell of dogs , also on the towels. To park opposite the complex was a bit difficult at times as one night there were no spaces. Never heard from the hosts. So Id put average as my experience. But loved the area .
