Can't give a good review. We arrived on bank holiday Monday, no welcome pack, not even a pint of milk in the fridge!Parking was a huge problem after reading that there was plenty of on road parking.Located on a busy main road, traffic started at 5am and was continuous until 11pm.The oven was so dirty that we didn't use it.Overall not a good experience

A very pleasant base for a stay in Bakewell. Only minutes to the centre. Although on the main Buxton Road, night-time traffic noise was not a problem to me. Parking became a problem. A resident's permit is provided, but resident bays are few and in high demand. The permit is not valid in the main town carpark. Fortunately, unloading was not a problem. The kitchen is fully equipped, but is very small and there was little room to store my own bits and pieces. Wifi exists, but is very slow.Narrow stairs lead to the bedroom which is light and spacious - and the big bed very comfortable. The en suite is also spacious and the shower a generous size, although the lighting in the shower-room could be improved.
