Situated in the charming village of Biggin by Hartington, you'll be just a stone's throw away from the welcoming Waterloo Inn, a family-owned establishment.

Biggin couldn't be a better location for your group walking and cycling holiday in the Peak District, as you can see one of the region's best-loved routes, the Tissington Trail, from the house. Follow the traffic-free route from Ashbourne to Parsley Hay and enjoy stunning views of White Peak. Some find this 13-mile trail is the perfect distance. However, if you've got the legs for it, you can join the High Peak Trail and Pennine Bridleway to explore even more of this gorgeous English landscape. Alternatively, walk or ride through the limestone landscape of Biggin Dale, following the flow of the River Dove to Wolfscote and Beresford Dales.

Accommodation Comprises:

Homestead Barn is a heritage building with a fresh lease of life thanks to a skilful conversion. Expect solid stone walls and rural views complemented by underfloor heating, fast and reliable Wifi, and high-quality fixtures and furnishings.

Downstairs:

Entry is via a walled courtyard garden into a large hallway with ample space for boots and coats - an absolute must for a walking holiday in the Peak District!

Catering standard appliances are softened with a family-friendly vibe in the kitchen. Cooking for 20 is easy with two double ovens, two dishwashers, two fridges, and all the necessary equipment to cook and serve meals,

There's no need to eat in shifts with a massive dining table seating 20 people in a separate dining room.

Socialise and relax in the huge entertainment room. There is a bar with a drinks fridge and an icemaker at one end, and plenty of sofa-seating and a home entertainment system with surround sound at the other.

Bedrooms 7 & 8: A family suite features two bedrooms (one king and one triple) on either side of a Jack-and-Jill ensuite shower room.

Accessed via the hallway, the utility room has laundry facilities and a cloakroom/WC.

Upstairs:

The top floor of the L-shaped barn has six more ensuite bedrooms. Stairgates and two travel cots are available for guests with young children.

Bedroom 1: Triple/family room with a king and single beds. Ensuite shower room.

Bedroom 2: King bedroom with an ensuite bathroom (shower over the bath).

Bedroom 3: Triple/family room with a double and a single bed. Ensuite shower room.

Bedroom 4: Double/quad room featuring a double bed and a sofa bed. Ensuite shower room.

Bedroom 5: King bedroom and ensuite shower room.

Bedroom 6: Double bedroom with ensuite shower room.

Outside: The barn has enclosed private gardens and a secure gated entrance. The outdoor space has a gravel courtyard, a patio with seating, and grassed areas with views over the neighbouring fields at the rear.

Additional Information: Dogs are welcome by arrangement only. Utilities, bed linen (not cot bedding) and towels are included. The barn is a non-smoking property.
