Guests that stayed at this property said

The cottage is consistently described as clean and well-kept, with several guests noting its tidiness. The attention to cleanliness contributes positively to the overall experience.

The location is highly regarded for its tranquillity, scenic countryside, and proximity to local towns and attractions. The village's charm and the ease of access to walking trails are frequently mentioned.

The cottage is often referred to as cosy and comfortable, with adequate space for guests. However, some mention of squeaky floorboards and a small second bedroom suggests minor comfort issues for some visitors.

Facilities are generally good, with a well-equipped kitchen and the bonus of a paddock for dogs. However, there are several mentions of maintenance issues such as a problematic fireplace, unstable furniture, and slow broadband, indicating room for improvement.

Guests express gratitude for the welcome pack and the owners' helpfulness, which are seen as thoughtful gestures. While these gifts are appreciated, it is noted that such offerings may vary and are not guaranteed.

The cottage was ideally situated , well equipped, the beds were very comfortable (the only down was the quilts on both beds could do with renewing) It was lovely to have a garden and to walk the meadow. Would recommend and would definitely book again. Near to Buxton and Bakewell. Pub food was excellent. We had a great weekend joining in with the village fete events.
