Washing machine needs replacing. Provision of an information folder would be useful e.g. map of local walks from cottage. We would stay again.

The owner told us how to boost the hot water system but we kept forgetting to do it! The cottage was abit chilly when we arrived but the owner provided a plentiful supply of coal and kindling which meant the property soon warmed up and we could have a lovely coal fire each evening which made the cottage really cosy. It would be helpful to have a coffee table in the lounge as we had to put drinks etc on the floor. A few scatter cushions and throws would make the cottage even more cosy! It was a lovely cosy cottage, with lots of good walks on the door step. We didn't need to use the car. Loved the dark skies, meant we could spend an evening star gazing. Would stay again.
