Place is perfectly appointed for a home from home. Everything you need is provided and if you have any questions the host is super responsive without being intrusive. EV charging was a plus for sure.

We booked the woodland lodge quite last minute during the Christmas break so was already pleased with the availability and price. The lodge was absolutely perfect for what we needed, we brought our reactive dog aswell so the secure garden for him to spread out in it was great. Inside it was a compact but cosy vibe, all felt quite modern and up to date which was nice. Walk in shower, good pressure from shower and bathroom overall smelt amazing with reed diffuser. Bed and sofa very comfy, enjoyed the range of apps to use on TV including Netflix and BBC Iplayer. The items left out for arrival were very much appreciated including milk, dog treats, biscuits and tea. Small kitchen but was more than good enough for us. Surrounding area was beautiful, woods just across the road, Prestwood village a couple of minutes away with takeaways and express supermarkets, Great Missenden about 5 minutes away where we got fish and chips from a place called Great Missenden Fish and Mangal Plus, cooked fresh to order and didn’t feel overly greasy. We also visited Wendover Woods which was 20 minutes away, small parking fee but different walking routes available, we did the longest one which was just shy of 3 miles and took about an hour and a half. To conclude, we loved every minute of our stay and would definitely return in the future!
