Upstairs are two kingsize bedrooms, one en-suite on the first floor and the other on the second floor up a separate flight of stairs, a twin room, and a reading study area also on the second floor by another staircase.

We had a very comfortable winter weekend at Brookend Cottage. It was nice and warm and we enjoyed the log burner. The location worked well for us as we visited nearby towns Chipping Norton and Burford, and walked from Stow to Bourton Over Water. We had expected from the website two singles in one of the bedrooms but they had been made up double. This was a bit awkward as we were four individuals. Overall excellent cottage.

We had a gorgeous time at Brookend Cottage. We needed a week away from the grind of life and this was a calm, relaxing place to stay. The beds are comfortable, the living area is cosy, we cooked in the Aga... what a treat! I love that the cottage is dog friendly and our pups enjoyed the garden. The cottage feels isolated as it's off the main roads, but it's actually quite close to some charming little towns. We really enjoyed our stay and will look forward to returning. Like in many ye olde cottages, the steps might be a bit tricky if you have any mobility issues.
