This well-presented, semi-detached home offers a great base for families or couples exploring the New Forest as it is conveniently located along the main road leading from Lyndhurst to Brockenhurst. Lyndhurst is about half a mile away with its array of eateries, pubs, cafés and shops, and only 200 yards from a popular local pub which also serves good food.
For those who would like to explore the delights of the New Forest without the car, there is a bus stop almost outside the property, and the nearest railway station is about 3 miles away. Cycle hire is available too, as this is a really popular area for keen walkers, cyclists and horse riders. There are many scenic and interesting routes to explore, some with flat levels and some more adventurous. Where ever you go, you are bound to come across the roaming ponies and cattle as well as other wildlife and fauna, woodland and heathland which all makes the New Forest so popular! The popular sailing town of Lymington with its marina is 20 minutes’ drive away, and has an array of boutiques, gift shops, cafés and pubs lining the cobbled streets. There’s also an open air swimming pool and ferry trips to the Isle of Wight.
Christchurch Priory and the coastline with popular beaches such as Bournemouth, Keyhaven, Poole and Sandbanks are all within easy reach. There is plenty to do in the area for all ages including Beaulieu Motor Museum, New Forest Wildlife Park, Bucklers Hard, Marwell Zoo, New Forest Owl and Otter Park, Peppa Pig World and Southampton with its maritime history, to name but a few!
Further afield, the unspoilt coastline of Dorset with the World Heritage Jurassic Coast stretches from West Bay, Bridport and Weymouth with spectacular coastal views. Also Stonehenge, Monkey World and The Tank Museum near Wool are all within easy driving distance. Beach 12¼ miles. Shop ½ mile, pub and restaurant 200 yards.
