The coast is also within easy reach; visit Milford on Sea, 8 miles away, or Southbourne, 14 miles away, to swim, make sandcastles or try your hand at water sports. Head 5 miles to Lymington to browse in colourful shops, have a meal out and catch the ferry to the Isle of Wight.
