Our many inland natural footpaths, including Sturt Pond Nature Reserve, Studland Common, Sharvells Copse and the Milford On Sea Pleasure Grounds, provide a more sheltered opportunity to be at one with nature, should the weather be inclement. The Shingle Bank, to the East of the building, provides a slightly more challenging walk to Hurst Castle, from where a relaxing Ferry trip through the salt marches to the neighbouring Hamlet of Keyhaven provides a more relaxing leg of the return journey, during the Spring and Summer seasons. The spectacular seafront and Sturt Pond Nature Reserve provide plenty of opportunities to enjoy bird watching, fishing, crabbing and for the more energetic Guests, kite surfing and sailing.
