Guests say

Beehive Cottage is consistently praised for its cleanliness, comfort, and thoughtful touches, including a welcome basket and dog amenities. The enclosed garden and games room are popular features. Its location is ideal for exploring Kent, with easy access to Tenterden, Rye, and other attractions. Some minor concerns about garden maintenance and local pub closure, but overall, guests enjoy their stay and often recommend the cottage.

Guests frequently commend the cottage for its cleanliness, with multiple reviews highlighting the tidy and well-maintained interior. There is one mention of concern about potential dog smells, but the guest found no such issue upon arrival.

The location is generally well-received, with guests appreciating the proximity to Tenterden, Rye, and various attractions. However, the closure of the local pub and the need to drive to most places slightly affects the score.

The cottage is often described as cosy and comfortable, with a comfy bed and great shower. The presence of a log burner adds to the comfort level. There is a minor note regarding the steepness of the stairs and potential safety concerns.

Facilities like the games room, well-equipped kitchen, and garden are appreciated. However, there are comments about the garden being overgrown and a suggestion for non-slip treads on stairs, indicating room for improvement in maintenance.

Many reviews mention thoughtful touches such as a welcome basket and provisions for dogs. While these are well-received, it is important to note that such gifts are a kind gesture and may not be guaranteed for every stay.
