This pretty self catering holiday cottage in Kent has been renovated to a high standard with oak beams and an open aspect giving it a real feeling of light and space yet with a cosy wood burner to curl up in front of in the colder months. The calm colour scheme and natural coir matting make this a very attractive and charming holiday cottage. A great area for walking, close to the seaside for watersports and Rye for culture, perfect for everyone!

Stylishly furnished, this holiday cottage is light and spacious offering a good standard of self catering holiday accommodation. Added to this there is a tennis court which can be used to make your holiday even more fun (by prior arrangement with the owners).

The photographs of the property are clearly a few years old as the general feel of the place is a little tired. The carpets were heavily stained and worn and the sofas were extremely uncomfortable. In general the property could do with some basic decoration. There is also a lack of cupboard space for clothes, there was hanging space on the wall but no drawers or cupboards which may be an issue if there were 4 guests.The property was advertised as a 4* barn conversion but in its current state I would call it a 3*. Overall the property was adequate and in a lovely location but I feel that it needs a bit of an update to warrant the 4* rating.
