Beach View is a beautiful property with a lovely family feel about it. The location is stunning and the house is perfect for a stay in Margate. There is plenty of crockery and utensils are adequate. A tad short on working space in the kitchen - but the overall vibe of the property is sooo good it didnt detract from a fabulous stay. The name of the house does not let you down - the sunsets over the Sands are stunning and easliy viewed from the front of the house. Garden has a courtyard feel about it - but I understand the owners are looking to landscape. The garden is very secure so safe for children and dogs. I highly recommend this property if you are a young family or large group looking for a very comfortable stay. There is a wet room downstairs - perfect for children coming off the Sands. There are loads of coffee shops, take away food outlets and walks localy... with The Turner Centre just a few minutes walk away. If i had to critique this property I would suggest a lack of another bathroom could be a snag - but with the wet room downstairs its very workable. Parking is easy - and once you arrive there is very little need for a car as everything is on hand. This property deserves all of its 5 Stars.

We had a wonderful stay at the Beach House. The beautiful house was spacious, comfortable and in an excellent location for exploring Margate. We enjoyed stunning walks along the coast path and our dog loved the amazing beaches. Excellent and timely response from the hosts when we had a small issue. Thank you.

A lot of potential in this newly refurbed property. Spotlessly clean and with lovely cotton bedding. The house is spacious and in great position facing the beach, a short walk into Margate proper. It was let down by a poorly laid out kitchen that had no real workspace to prep any meals on. With ten people staying the kitchen facilities aren't adequate: need another working oven and fridge and freezer and a kitchen island to prep. Would be fighting over bathrooms too with ten people staying. For a group intending to eat out (lots of great options in walking distance) it's a good choice, but if you intend to cook its too much of a compromise currently. Owners were gracious and responsive when we flagged a couple of snagging issues while we were there.
