Alfie's Barn is ideally located for touring around the area. Although it feels like a rural setting with deer, foxes, hares and other wildlife just outside the windows, it is only minutes away from major routeways and a train station. The cottage amenities are very good and there is a village shop about two minutes walk away. Marks and Spencer and Tesco are within a ten minute drive. Highly recommended.

We enjoyed our stay at Alfie's Barn, its a great location about 25 minutes from Oxford, near Bicester village and not far from many main roads. The house itself is warm and cosy. It could do with a bit of an update and some more amenities. We were there in February when its too cold to be out all the time but there were no DVDs, hardly any books or games and only 2 CDS. There was not even sky TV but only Freeview and a broken remote control.
