This generous house with superb features and facilities is the perfect getaway for you and your furry friends. More than pet friendly is an understatement! You will find towels, beds, crates, a dog sitting service, even an outside hot and cold dog shower. To top things off, a stunning, 2-acre enclosed field that the owner will make available for two 30-minute slots per day. With sizeable bedrooms and plenty of bathrooms, this property oozes practicality and style. The bedrooms offer king or super kingsize beds along with comfortable, double-sprung Z-Beds, for flexibile sleeping arrangements or additional guests. The spacious conservatory with ample seating, leads to the gorgeous and substantial garden. At the end of this beautiful outside space you will find the fully-equipped bar/summer house, there is a barbecue and a kitchen area for preparing food, altogether a wonderful place to relax with friends and family in the summer sun.
Downsview Park is ideally situated just over a mile south of the beautiful town of Arundel. Individual shops, stunning architecture, imposing castle and riverside location make this a must spend day or two during your holiday. The WWT Wetland Centre, Swanbourne Lake and South Downs National Park with its pretty villages and fabulous hiking opportunities are all within 5 minutes. Numerous stately homes and gardens are dotted around the area. Goodwood with its world famous motor circuit and horse racing venue is a 20 minute easy drive. The pretty grass runway airport here offers the chance to take an airborne sightseeing experience offering memorable views of the coastline including Portsmouth Dockyards, Gunwharf Quays and the Spinnaker Tower that by road are a 40 minute drive. Lunch or tea airside in this stunning location is also possible. Dogs are welcomed everywhere at Goodwood. Two championship golf courses are on the estate and spa experiences available at the hotel. Tours and afternoon tea are available also here at the stately home. Chichester with its cathedral and Festival Theatre are a short drive, Brighton being 18 miles distant. Dog friendly beaches abound with quite a collection very nearby, a favourite being West Beach at Climping where there is the lovely Baliffscourt for a special dining treat.

We had a fabulous week at Downsview Park. The cottage was very large with a huge garden perfect for our 4 dogs. There was an adjoining field we had access to twice a day. There was a dog friendly pub within walking distance which served great food and played great music. There was so much to do locally, just a short drive away, we visited East Beach, West Beach & Climping which all had dog friendly beaches with lovely off lead walks for the dogs. The cottage owner was lovely, we got a call on the day we left to let us know that we had left our dogs medication in the fridge, which she arranged to be posted to us. This was such a thoughtful, kind gesture.We had such a wonderful break we would definitely love to stay at Downsview Park again
