About this property

Harbour Reach is a fabulous, dog-friendly holiday home situated in the heart of Littlehampton, West Sussex, just a short walk from the beach and the South Downs National Park. Boasting three beautifully appointed bedrooms and an enclosed garden with a barbecue and fire pit, Harbour Reach is the perfect retreat for families or friends looking to explore the West Sussex coast. Begin your getaway by parking on the roadside before stepping into the heart of the home, where you'll find an inviting sitting room, perfect for putting your feet up and unwinding in front of the Smart TV. Later, head into the fully equipped kitchen to cook up a storm for your loved ones, which can be enjoyed around the dining table. If the sun is shining, why not step outside and fire up the barbecue for a spot of alfresco dining? As the sun sets over Littlehampton, head back inside to wash off the day's adventures in the ground-floor bathroom before travelling to the first floor, where you can choose from three bedrooms: a king-size or two doubles, all ideal for catching up on your sleep before more adventures the next day. In the morning, grab your self-catering essentials from shops in the centre of Littlehampton, or perhaps treat yourself to a break from the kitchen with dinner at The Empress or Piccola Italia. If you’re looking to make the most of the coast, you’re in luck—Harbour Reach is just a short walk from the Blue Flag golden sands of both West and East Beaches. Here, you can visit East Beach Café on the sea front with popular seaside classics served in a relaxed and welcoming environment inside or on the decking. They even allow for take-away meals to enjoy sitting on the beach and taking in the sights and sea views. With the stunning seascape in mind, why not admire these views across the English Channel with a walk along the shore, or, if you’re feeling adventurous, try your hand at paddleboarding, windsurfing, kitesurfing, or wing foiling. If you have something more relaxing in mind, why not visit The Long Bench at Littlehampton promenade which is thought to be the longest bench in Britain and one of the longest in the world. For any avid golfers, Littlehampton Golf Club is perfect to practice your swing and is the oldest club in West Sussex and the only true links course in the west of the county. Other must-visit attractions include Highdown Gardens, the breath-taking Arundel Castle, Arundel Museum, Cissbury Ring, and the Weald and Downland Living Museum. The South Downs National Park also offers an abundance of walking and hiking trails, all with far-reaching views across the coast or countryside. All this and more awaits at Harbour Reach!

Littlehampton is a seaside resort town with two beaches, a bustling marina and harbour. The International Blue Flag and Quality Coast Flag fly over the Coastguards beach. This busy south coast town has all that is desirable for a seaside holiday, from deep-sea fishing to scuba diving, from water skiing to windsurfing, all manner of water sports are available to the visitor year round. The sandy east beach has indoor and outdoor attractions available for all ages, while the west beach, the opposite side of the river Arun, is untouched and protected, and offers secluded sand dunes and fantastic wildlife. In the town of Littlehampton there are an abundance of restaurants, pubs and shops to satisfy the needs of all tastes and ages, while the town's Look and Sea Centre, tracing the maritime history of Littlehampton, and boasting an 80 ft high viewing tower overlooking the harbour and beyond makes a great day out for all the family. Littlehampton is ideally located for visiting many places of interest along the south and west Sussex coastline, including historic dockyards, Roman villas and the renowned Weald and Downland Museum, as well as vineyards, public gardens and Goodwood with its motor sport and horse racing. With the delightful towns and cities of Chichester, Arundel and Brighton, Littlehampton is a great base on the Sussex coast.

Appreciated the fabulous welcome gifts. Owners were very quick to respond to an initial issue. The living room felt very relaxing and was nice to see the addition of some games. Kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need. I stayed in the front bedroom and the bed was so comfortable. Would happily stay again

The garden and outdoor space was a delight. We found it to be a good base for visiting places along the coast. More locally, we enjoyed West Beach (nice cafe), interesting town walks, a lovely meal at the Arun Arms. The courtesy food "hamper" gave a warm welcome.
