Guests say

Guests have praised The Dunnit@Manor Farm for its cleanliness, well-equipped nature, and friendly owners. The property's rural location offers tranquillity and proximity to attractions like the New Forest and Stonehenge. While some guests noted the need for fans during hot weather and the suitability for young children, the overall experience was very positive, with special mentions of the peaceful environment and the river at the garden's edge.

The property consistently receives high marks for cleanliness, with guests describing it as 'clean and well presented', 'clean and tidy', and 'exemplary'. One guest suggested additional cleaning tools to maintain this during the stay.

The location is highly appreciated for its quiet, rural setting and convenience to local attractions such as the New Forest, Stonehenge, and Salisbury. However, some guests mentioned repetitive driving on winding roads.

The property is generally considered comfortable and well-equipped. However, there were concerns about high temperatures and lack of ventilation in one of the bedrooms, suggesting the need for fans during warmer weather.

Facilities like the EV charger, well-furnished rooms, and extensive grounds are appreciated. However, the absence of stair gates and the need to move ornaments for child safety slightly affected the score.

The owners are noted for their friendliness and helpfulness, with a welcome pack mentioned as a thoughtful touch. While such gestures are warmly received, it's important to note that these are not guaranteed for every stay.

The owners were very friendly & welcoming but also very respectful of our privacy. The shared grounds are quite extensive and we enjoyed several peaceful evening walks down by the river. The location is excellent with lots of things to see & do. We enjoyed exploring the local area including visits to Salisbury Cathedral, the Hawk Conservancy, The Royal Navy Museum in Portsmouth, the National Motor Museum and the New Forest. We would highly recommend this property.

Well equipped and very comfortable. Owners were lovely and very helpful. Having the river at the bottom of the garden was a delight to our grandsons. We had the best week. Thank you Steve and Sue.

The high chair and cot were in good condition and clean however there were a lot of ornaments etc that we had to move to avoid accidents and breakages. No stair gates made it hazardous with an adventurous toddler. When we arrived the temperature upstairs was over 30 degrees and too hot to sleep. The third bedroom did not have any windows which did not help. It would be helpful for fans to be provided or to advise customers to bring fans for hot weather. We did knock at the owners home to see if they had any but think they were away as we didn't see anyone for the duration of our stay. This is meant as constructive feedback as we would not hesitate to stay again but as an adult only group.
