From Broadstone village there is a regular bus service to Poole town centre in one direction and Wimborne in the other.
Just a short drive away, the historic town of Wimborne Minster is worth a visit, known for its stunning medieval architecture, including the impressive Wimborne Minster itself. The town is also home to the fascinating Model Town, a miniature replica of Wimborne from the 1950s.
The nearby town of Poole, with its historic quay, offers boat trips to Brownsea Island and Swanage. Popular day trips include Dorchester, the New Forest and the Jurassic Coast.

This is a lovely bungalow, well positioned for access to both the New Forest, Wareham and beyond and the coast. It is very roomy, clean and comfortable. The carpets were spotless. The kitchen is well supplied and even had lidded casserole dishes which we rarely find. Nice welcome pack. If I had to find one problem it would be that the bathroom radiators (towel rails) were not big enough to warm the room, which is only a problem in winter when we were there. We would absolutely go there again if returning to Dorset

Excellent location for our son attending an event in Poole. Easy to find. Parking. Perfect garden for our dog, with a lovely walk along the old railway line directly behind.Comfortable, warm and relaxing. Thank you for accommodating us.

By the way is a perfect base if you're looking to explore Dorset. The house has everything you need and is spotlessly clean.It's such a lovely touch adding treats , poo bags and a tenis ball for the dog.We will definitely be back .
