Guests consistently praise the property for its cleanliness, comfortable furnishings, and thoughtful touches such as welcome packs. The location is appreciated for its proximity to facilities and natural beauty. The on-site amenities, including pools and a games room, add to the enjoyment, although there are minor mentions of maintenance issues. Overall, the property offers a homely and well-equipped retreat for families and travellers looking to explore Devon and Cornwall.
Reviews frequently highlight the property's cleanliness, with many guests finding it immaculate. There is a single mention of areas needing deeper cleaning, but this appears to be an isolated comment amidst overall high praise for cleanliness.
The property's location is well-regarded, with guests enjoying the woodland setting and proximity to both indoor and outdoor pools. It is also mentioned as a good base for exploring the surrounding areas of Cornwall and Devon. However, some guests noted the hilly terrain and parking distance as minor inconveniences.
Comfort is frequently commended, with guests finding the beds and sofas very comfortable. There is a single mention of a bed being too firm, indicating personal preference rather than a widespread issue.
Facilities are generally praised, especially the swimming pools and games room. However, there are comments about maintenance issues such as a fan turning on unexpectedly and outdoor furniture not being comfortable, suggesting room for improvement.
While many reviews express gratitude for the thoughtful welcome packs and supplies, as a copy-writer, I must note that such gifts are subject to change and not guaranteed. There is not enough information to score this category accurately without assuming that gifts are a consistent offering.

A veritable home from home. Loved the upside down accommodation and enjoyed breakfast on the balcony several times during our stay. The park is big but weâll laid out and afforded our lodge some privacy. Amenities are good and well situated for getting around. Cornwall is fabulous and our lodge was the perfect place to return to.

Great location ,sit on the balcony looking out on the mature wooded view whilst having your breakfast . Very clean and well furnished ,making you feel at home from the moment you step through the door. All has been done to ensure your stay is perfect . Highly recommend a stay here . And book your Sunday lunch at the sites pub early ! It will be worth it .

The location was ideal to travel to all the places we planned to visit and having the National Trust place so close was an added bonus. You will certainly feel relaxed if you stay here. The on-site facilities were good too and nice to have a swim and sauna at the end of the day.
