Later, head into the fully-equipped kitchen/diner where you can help the designated chef of the group cook up a storm which can be enjoyed around the dining table. After dinner, venture outside where you can appreciate the countryside views from the warmth of the bubbling hot tub while your beloved dog burns off some energy in the enclosed garden. When stars appear overhead, travel back inside to wash off the day’s adventures in either the ground-floor shower room or the sleek bathroom on the first floor. After you've freshened up, choose from four bedrooms to catch your rest in; there are two doubles with en-suite shower rooms, one of which has a Juliet balcony, and two further doubles. Make the most of the coast and take a short drive to the glorious shores of Gwithian Beach, where you can roam the golden sands with your beloved pooch, splash around in the sea with the kids or simply admire the breath-taking views across the azure. Hayle is also within reach, enjoy delicious seafood on its white sandy shores, take to the open water on canoes or kayaks or take the kids to Paradise Park and Jungle Barn to play in their play area and to admire rare birds and animals. The picturesque village of Connor Down may be found in West Cornwall, not far from the larger towns of Hayle and the tourist hotspot of St. Ives. There is a tavern, a restaurant, a few shops, and a farm store that doubles as a cafe and a place to pick your own fruit. The South West Coast Path, with its stunning vistas of St. Ives Bay and the lighthouse on Godrevy Island, is conveniently located near the village. You may also visit the dog-friendly Hayle Towans Beach and the beautiful Porthkidney Sands, both of which are not far away. Paradise Park and JungleBarn is a great place to take kids because of all the exotic creatures and birds that can be seen there. Marazion, with its wonderful beach and other sights like St. Michael's Mount, is a bit further away. Connor Downs is a great starting point for excursions into this bustling part of Cornwall.
