Sennen Cove, a tiny fishing hamlet in Cornwall, is conveniently close to the county's most southernmost point, Land's End. There are two popular gastropubs and a café in this small town. There is also a lifeboat station. St. Just is the biggest town to Land's End, and it's full of monuments and prehistoric artefacts, like the Bronze Age settlement at Cape Cornwall. There is a town hall, a church, shops, pubs, and a mediaeval theatre known as Plain-an-Gwarry, where miracle plays were performed. There is an outdoor theatre just 5 miles away in Porthcorno. You can try some delicious stargazy pie by taking a short drive to the nearby village of Mousehole. The town of Penzance, with its winding streets, shops, clubs, restaurants, and harbour (from which day trips to the Scilly Isles can be enjoyed), is also easily accessible. A charming place to call home while exploring Cornwall.

The flat could do with a bit of TLC and I wouldn't expect to pay these rates for a flat that is in this condition, which is mainly the damp and the bathroom.

But the flat is damp and the storage heaters were not strong enough to overcome the damp even in September. The flat could benefit from a deep clean.

On arrival the cleanliness was poor, the toaster hadn't been emptied, there were crumbs in the cupboards, saucepans were dirty, the bathroom sink was dirty was the last guests toothpaste, surfaces were dusty and there was food under the sofa. I cleaned these things myself on arrival which isn't acceptable as you would expect a clean property ready for use. I had to use our family's house to shower as the water pressure was so poor I would never have been able to wash my hair. The window sill in the main bedroom is also dangerous if people/children were to lean on it as it isn't fixed against the wall and so can come right off. We love the area of sennen, and the view from the property was lovely. However, I wouldn't return on the basis of the damp feeling. In addition, the housekeeper needs to be advised how to prepare a property for guests.
