Porthgwarra is a small, coastal village resting upon the Penwith Heritage Coast in Southwest Cornwall, near the iconic Land’s End point. Set upon the coastal path, with historical landmarks of Gwennap Head Daymark on route, and with a delightful haven of Porthgwarra Beach within reach, both visitors and locals can enjoy the beauty of the village, before grabbing a bite to eat at Porthgwarra Cove Café. Fully equipped for home baking and home cooked meals! The scenery was magnificent as was the swimming with the seals each day from the cove.

We did miss slightly not having the booking through an employee of the estate, and found the final contact from Cornish Cottage Holidays a little patronising. The treats hamper was wonderful and much nicer than anticipated. The setting of the cottage was unsurpassable, where else could you sit in the window seat to watch seals in the cove?

Perfect for relaxing and recharging. Well equipped and comfortable and very clean. Excellent cafe next door with lovely staff and the best steak pasties. We didnât want to leave!
